Outdoor Range
The Club’s outdoor range has target placements at 100 yards, 50 yards and 25 yards, with a covered concrete pad firing line. The range is laid out such that all shooting is from a single firing line regardless of the target distance. Thus, the range can simultaneously accommodate shooters firing at targets at different distances.
The range is available for rifles and pistols of any caliber and type.
Indoor Range
The indoor range provides year-round handgun shooting in a controlled, weather-independent space designed for consistent lighting, safety, and member convenience.
This facility allows members to practice regardless of seasonal conditions, offering a stable environment for routine training and skill development. Ventilation and lighting are maintained to support safe use.
Specific caliber and equipment restrictions apply to ensure proper operation. Members must review posted guidelines and follow all safety procedures before entering the range.
Archery Range
The archery range supports both indoor and outdoor shooting with multiple target lanes, allowing members to practice archery comfortably across seasons.
Indoor targets provide a reliable option during colder months, while outdoor targets allow for longer-distance practice and seasonal use. The layout accommodates traditional and compound bows.
Archers are expected to verify target placement, inspect equipment, and remain aware of others using the range. All shooting must follow posted rules and safety standards.
River Access
Club river access provides members seasonal entry to the water for approved recreational use, extending outdoor opportunities beyond the shooting ranges.
This access enhances the club’s outdoor offerings and connects members to the surrounding natural environment. Use may vary based on seasonal conditions and water levels.
Members must comply with posted guidelines and applicable regulations when using river access. Respect for safety, property boundaries, and environmental conditions is required at all times.
Club Rental
Club facilities are available for private rental, offering members and approved groups a practical setting for meetings, events, and gatherings.
Rental use may include club-related functions, private meetings, or organized events, depending on availability. Spaces are suited for small to mid-sized groups.

Trap Shooting
The club does not currently offer on-site trap shooting but provides guidance for members seeking nearby facilities that participate in shotgun sports and organized trap or skeet programs.
Trap shooting is a frequent area of interest for many current members and shotgun sports enthusiasts.
The Saranac Lake Fish & Game Club has initiated a fund-raising plan whose objective is to reestablish the necessary infrastructure and acquire additional equipment for a Trap shooting program.
