5. Old Business

Federation Update – Mark Holt

  • Sam Grimone spoke at the meeting – we will upload the video to our website
  • Spring Meeting in Avion was held for the NYS Conservation Council
    • Resolutions were voted on to be submitted to the NYS Legislator 
    • Go to the NYS Conservation Council website to review Resolutions at https://www.nyscc.com
  • Next Federation meeting May 21st, Dinner at 5pm – pulled pork sandwiches, Meeting at 6pm – Malone Fish & Game Club
  • Franklin County Fair, first week in August
    • Saturday, August 8th & Sunday, August 9th
    • 4 volunteers needed each day, 2 for each shift
      • 8am – 2pm, 2pm – 9pm

Work Party May 16, 2026 – 8:00 AM Start

  • We Need Volunteers
  • Food to be provided 
    • Clean Stove 
    • Staining the Clubhouse Building 
    • Outdoor Range Shed Window Frame Correction 
    • Outdoor Range Structure Painting
    • Replace Bricks in Fireplace 
    • Scottie Adams – Will install new Roku TV and get everything hooked up in the corner of the clubhouse

6. New Business

10 Gun Raffle

  • 10 guns have been chosen, and we are under budget 
  • Kasey Donahue and Val Trost to work together to get what is needed for Compass Printing 
    • John Skiff recommended making larger signs so the images are clearer and easier to see 
  • Val Trost will handle Saranac Lake locations 
  • Scottie Adams will handle Tupper Lake locations 
  • Tickets will be available soon to members
  • If anyone wants to help, please reach out to Tom Cleator

Diane Burman – Longtime member

  • Recently passed away.
  • Celebration of Life Sunday May 30th
  • Extended invite to anyone who knew her, please stop by the club

Kids Fishing Derby June 21st 8am – 12pm 

  • Kids 15 years old and under
  • Free event
  • Food Provided
