Federation Update
- Franklin County Fair, August 7-16
- Saturday, August 15th & Sunday, August 16th
- 2 volunteers still needed for Saturday 2pm – 9pm
- Saturday Morning: Dan Matuck/Dave Beaumont – Saturday Evening: ??
- Sunday Morning: Jimmy Jones/Rocky Nogales – Sunday Evening: Rocky Nogales/Mark Holt
- NYS Conservation Council Fall Meeting
- August 28th-30th Fall Meeting – Need to know by next meeting if interested in attending
- Held in Hancock NY
- Franklin County Federation will pay for hotel and $50 toward gas

- Contact Mark Holt with voting by Franklin County Fair Time. Mark will vote how he is directed to based on feedback received.

10 Gun Raffle
- $3,060.00 received so far – Keep selling tickets!
- Tickets are slowing trickling in
- 24 online sales
- *Information received from Val Trost after meeting*
- Only Woods and Waters has been contacted regarding ticket sales – to date they only had 1
- Contact number was left at all locations tickets were dropped off at, should they need more tickets. Val does not want to “nag” businesses
- To date we have received 90 tickets back from the mailings and we have also received membership renewals
Kid’s Fishing Derby
- Don’t have a final report yet
- Bought more medals for this year’s event
- Still no salmon
- New scale bought for the Colby Classic works great, but is sensitive – will set up a tarp next year to protect from the wind
- Will change how we do the scoring sheets
- Pat Brown gave us permission to repaint Bob Brown’s Fish Sign to make it brighter
Willard Hanmer Guide Boat & Canoe Race
- Successful Race
- Had food, beverages, porta potty’s set up at the clubhouse
- Could have used more volunteers in the morning, but they worked through it
- Sold some 10-Gun Raffle Tickets
- Sold some memberships
- Had a bouncy house for the kids
6. New Business
River Clean-Up
- Largest Group so far
- 7 Canoes approx. 15 people
- Collected old glass bottles
- Club offered water to volunteers
Potluck Kayak/Canoe Day – Members Only
- Low Key
- Bring Food/Drinks
- 11am-3pm
- August 1st
- Paddle upriver and float back down
- Rain or Shine
Club closed this weekend 7pm Friday-12pm Sunday for a private event
Put up a bigger flag in the clubhouse – Dan Matuck
Steve Lane – Caught a tagged fish, but had too small of a net and the fish got loose
